Western District Health Service is establishing an Advisory Group for the award winning initiative Sustainable Farm Families (SFF).

The Advisory Group will be responsible for advocating for the needs of farming families to SFF Program decision-makers, monitoring the project goals and ensuring they are reached in a timely manner, and acting as ambassadors for all of the SFF projects, providing support and encouraging the SFF team in the development of the framework of governance and cross sector collaboration for transferability to other states and countries.  The will also oversee the completion of current SFF projects.

The Advisory group will have between 11 and 15 members, with their being a balance of industry groups, government and health agencies, with at least two community members who have expertise and knowledge in the rural industry and are currently farming.
